Technically, it should be called a ‘blog.

Web log. Weblog. That doesn’t shorten to just blog. It should be ‘blog with an apostrophe to indicate that it’s the short form of a longer word. Just like it should be called a v’log.

Anyway, it’s now the semester break over here, so that means two whole weeks…of still doing work. I’ve gotta do a lot of catch-up work, along with finish an assignment. Still, it’s going pretty well.

I’ve uploaded two videos to YouTube; one of them is of my second assignment — the Space Invaders clone — the other is part of my assignment. Just to show what I had done recently. There’s actually a lot of stuff we’ve gone through since I last posted anything up.

I’ve finally gotten Mario Galaxy 2, after it was localised for 6 weeks; only up to world 4 so far but it’s easily game of the year for me so far.

Started writing two new Phineas and Ferb stories; one of them on a whim to show up users on FanFiction.Net, the other as a prize for my little competition I’m holding on my forum. As well as the 5 or 6 original stories I’ve started, I’ve got the incomplete PaF stories I took off of FF back last year. I have a lot of works, yet only one of them’s actually fully finished. “An Unspoken Bond” is getting close, though.

Speaking of FanFiction.Net, too; some interesting (and by interesting, I mean downright hilarious) stories and discussions have come up on the PaF section. I’d suggest reading this first, but there’s a bit more to it since I last updated on that thread. It’s a shame that practically no one understands why I do what I do on that site, because it seems to have been a catalyst for other users to start having flame wars against each other; and I don’t like being the spark, because everyone lumps me into one side or another of the argument. Really, I don’t care for either side.

E3 also came and went last month; and that was just insane. So Nintendo won the show, hands down, Sony avoided any embarrassing stares by going after Microsoft, who were so terrible that they had to give away the 250GB model of the 360 just to go out on applause. Nintendo’s bout of sending models out to the audience with 3DS devices strapped to their bodies worked much better.

What else…

Oh yeah; I put a “Screenplays” section on the main site a few hours ago. Considering someone on YouTube made a video of one of them, I figured I should have the original up for reading. I’ll put the rest up later on.

What else now… I’ll most likely be getting the iPhone 4, as long as I can get a deal that will not end my current contract and start a new one.

I’m sure there’s something else I’m forgetting, but would seem so obvious to me…

I saw Toy Story 3 last week and that is easily the best movie of the year for me so far. I did start crying slightly by the end. The 3D was amazingly well done; and the Pixar short “Day and Night” was outstanding.

Like, it’s something really important, but I just can’t think what it is I’m not remembering…

Erm…

Nnnggh…

Gah, I can’t think what it is. I mean, I know it was something really important to me at the time and/or really obvious; just slipping off my mind right now, though.

Oh well.

Regards,

≈Roy
